The tool displays the keystrokes with a transparent foreground, which is a great feature if you are recording a video tutorial that requires transparency. You can enter a percentage value between 0 and 100, which is the opacity value, and the tool will display the keys with the color and opacity you specify. Figure 1: ShowUs has a versatile configuration window that allows you to customize the style and behavior of the tool. For each keystroke, you can also specify a delay, duration and opacity. You can also choose the character combination to use, whether to display the mouse actions or simply show the keys, and the font size and font type to use. ## Encoding the Screencast Once you have configured the settings for ShowUs, click the ```Encoding``` button, and you are presented with the File Naming dialog where you need to specify the name for the video you are about to create.
